CHP increasing efforts to find freeway sniper
California Highway Patrol investigators are increasing their efforts to find a sniper who has been shattering car windows in the Inland Empire, apparently with a pellet gun.
No injuries have been reported as a result of the attacks.
Many of the shootings have been on the 10, 15 and 215 freeways. KTLA reported that 45 vehicles have been damaged in recent weeks, with a dozen motorists reporting incidents Friday.
Officers have asked anyone with information about the alleged sniper to contact the Inland highway patrol office at (909) 388-8000.
