Sewage spill closes beaches in Orange County

March 24, 2010 |  3:59 pm
A sewage spill has forced officials to close beaches from the breakwater at Dana Point Harbor to Capistrano Bay Community Beach.

The closures also affect Doheny State Beach and Capistrano County Beach, the Orange County Health Care Agency said. The contamination was detected Tuesday.

The beaches will remain closed until further notice. For more information, visit the agency's website.
