The proverbial "Compton Cookout", as protested against by some people at UCSD.

I work for CUSD in the building behind Compton High and was shocked when trying to pull in to work this morning and couldn't enter thru the gate to get to my office. I did see the police officers looking at the body which was directly across the street from my office. To me, this type of crime sounds like an execution type deal, not your normal murder. This is truely sad!!!

Another Compton Cookout fatality...That place is DANGEROUSSSS...

People have to understand that the City of Compton is very currupted, theres too much drug dealing going around, I live in Compton, I see it around me when I drive home when I go to the super market , I don't understand why the City hasn't done anything about it. This City has improved over these past couple of years but yet we the people of Compton don't put the effort to think twice and show people that this city is not dangeous. Its ridiculous finding a burning body Next to a high school what is that!

Compton may be recognized by its crime but when it comes up to compton doing something great nobody cares about the city but when compton tries there best to do something we never put any effort to support our city and thats the problem im a student at compton high and ive been living in compton for over 15 years and i notice when compton does something nice for the city to make it look better for example i walk down the sidewalk and i see new trees planted and what do you know later there all broken and torn in half and thats when people start criticizing us for not keeping our own city clean it really hurts when people just wait till something bad happens in compton then they start criticizing us. Just becuase compton started of bad early doesnt mean we are still the same as before!! compton has grown and changed alot! That compton cookout was just very pathetic and inmature but dont worry god has punishments for those people especially towards racist twoface people that have no life but to make fun of humans!

this city is the best and especially our compton high school band we are champions . we do great stuff down here i have never seen something so well organized and plus our city is beautyfiin more and more im so proud of my city.our lots look like parks and we have a very nice shopping center .
