Wife of televangelist Benny Hinn files for divorce

The wife of faith healer and televangelist Benny Hinn has filed for divorce in Orange County Superior Court.

Suzanne Hinn filed her divorce papers Feb. 1, according to the court website. Her attorney, Sorrell Trope, could not be reached for comment Thursday afternoon.

The couple married in 1979 and have three daughters and a son, according to a biography on posted on the website for Benny Hinn Ministries.

The silver-haired Hinn is one of the world's most financially successful faith healers.

He lives in a multimillon-dollar home near Salt Creek Beach Park in Dana Point. And he has flown around the world in a leased Gulfstream jet to lead his "Miracle Crusades," during which tens of thousands of followers have packed stadiums and auditoriums to hear Hinn preach about the Gospel and God's healing powers.

Hinn has been a pastor for more than 30 years but remains committed to "winning the lost at any cost," his website says.

Hinn's ministries are headquartered in Grapevine, Texas, and operates a television studio in Aliso Viejo.

Let us pray for brother Benny Hin and his wife, his human and attached by setan ultimately God wins b/s setan is already defeated 2010 years ago. those who insult and curse take off your eyes of human and try to live for your self. It is not a suprise to me that she finally files for divorce, I used to work for Benny brother Henry, they two different people when they are not in front of the camera, they love MONEY, They are Con artist! In all the years that I have been affiliated with this ministry, I think it would be most appropriate if the true Christians would come forward and give their testimones, which includes healing, deliverance of family members, salvation, etc. I am a witness to a lot of healings that took place, including my very own healing. Pastor Benny Hinn is none of the 'things' you are calling him. For Christ, you will suffer persecution...and that is so true. Take a real good look at a wonderful, compassionate, and God's choice for this particular ministry. He's the best Bible Teacher one could have and he's the most anointed minister I have ever met in my lifetime. I pray that Pastor Benny and Mrs. Hinn will do what God wants them to do...Not what you, with your bad mouthing thinks they should do.

Reports say that according to the Audit reports he spend 88% on Ministry. He is not Immoral. His wife for unknown reason is filing a divorce, that to without notice. Why do the fools compare him with Jim Bakker, Jimmy Swaggart, Ted Haggard, Warren Jeffs, Floyd Flake. It amazes me that so many people, professing to be Christians, have such an incredible lack of understanding of the Word of God. This is a sad situation with Benny Hinn and his wife, but they don't need us passing jugement on them, they need our prayers.
As I read through the comments below, I can only shake my head and question if people who truly love God would say such foolishness.
When people are hurting, as this couple obviously are, our responsibility is to uphold them and pray for them. Our prayer should be that they press in to God and really get instructions from Him on what is their next move.
Is the love of God operating in anyone who would judge someone elses marriage? How about anyone who would say that the money he receives for the work of the Kingdom of God is his and will be split with his wife in any divorce?
If we all would accept responsibility for our own lives and pray that we live lives pleasing to God, and allow the Holy Spirit of God to instruct them in their lives, I believe the world would be a better place.
