Two found dead at Manhattan Beach home

The bodies of a 22-year-old woman and a 24-year-old man were found today in a residential neighborhood of Manhattan Beach, officials said.

Officers were initially sent to the 300 block of 2nd Street at 11:25 a.m. to check on the two people at their residence, Manhattan Beach Police Lt. Bryan Klatt said. It was not known what prompted the check.

The L.A. County Sheriff’s Department is investigating. No other information was available.
