Ktla_newsN2 Here are some of the stories that KTLA-TV Channel 5 is planning for its 10 p.m. news broadcast:

MODEL SLAIN: The body of a 26-year-old model who lived in Southern California was discovered in a trash bin in Miami on Sunday. The badly burned body was identified by dental records. Florida authorities say the woman arrived in Miami with her boyfriend on New Year's Eve. The boyfriend reported her missing on Monday, telling authorities that they were separated at a Miami club over the weekend. Police said the woman had been living in Rancho Cucamonga.

COMPUTER FOLLOW-AWAY BURGLARIES: Police are investigating a series of "follow away" vehicle burglaries in which thieves targeted Apple store customers in Manhattan Beach. Thieves have broken into at least 15 vehicles containing merchandise from the same store. The crimes have occurred since September, according to authorities.
