Police seek suspect in Northridge marijuana clinic robbery

Los Angeles police released surveillance footage today that might help detectives identify a gunman who shot and robbed an employee at a Northridge medical marijuana clinic.

The robber entered the clinic in the 8900 block of Reseda Boulevard shortly after 2 p.m. Jan. 8 and took the victim's wallet and shot him with a handgun, the Los Angeles Police Department said. The employee was taken to a local hospital and listed in stable condition, according to police.

The video footage shows a man pointing a gun at someone's head as they quickly walk past the camera.

The suspect was seen driving a dark-green, four-door late 1990s Chevrolet Lumina, the LAPD said.

Anyone with information is asked to call detectives at (818) 832-0609.

I stupid punk theives. Why did he shoot the guy? Idiot!

And people want this stuff legalized?? Good Lord, potheads are ruining this country. I think it's time to adopt China's drug laws. Death in a public square and family gets an invoice for the bullet. Problem quashed.

The power of the bud.

this happened on Jan 8 and it's barely hitting the press now! This SOB is long gone. Why does it take so long for these surveillance tapes to come out to the public when the suspect can be caught?

Did you notice it only took 18 days to ask for help in a violent crime.

Wow, Dave actually blames cannabis for the actions of an armed thug with a gun. Dave, FYI bad people have been robbing and hurting people for ages over every kind of valuable you could possibly imagine? Where in your thick skull does the idiotic 'reasoning' that some how the cannabis is to blame?

Do we really want to live under the iron fist of a Chinese like authoritarian society? For what, to solve some fantasy problem that exists in the troubled minds of non-thinkers like Dave? And oh, if the Chinese have really 'solved' the problem, why in the world do they have no problem arranging a bunch of executions every June for 'world anti-drug day' or whatever the propagandists call it? Now that's a bright vision of the world, trotting people out to execute to 'celebrate'.

How many pharmacies and liquor stores have been either robbed or had an employee shot while being robbed? Tomebaden, you need to really get your head out of the sand on this issue and more than likely many more that we face today. I had a friend who was shot and killed at a watch repair shop he worked at, does that mean time is dangerous?

Yeah, typical of "DAVE's type of comments. Shows no intellect, one-sided mind set of pure accepted stupidity in ones words. Yet can by pass on what Alcohol has done to our country and family and friends and just plain innocent victims, yet has to make a dumb comment on one dumb person robbing.

First off I'd like to catch that guy and grind his face in the pavement in front of a town square gathering.
