Monrovia City Council to discuss 'bear incursions'

Ktla_newsN2 Here are some of the stories that KTLA-TV Channel 5 is planning for its 10 p.m. news broadcast:

MONROVIA BEARS: City Council members will consider a proposal tonight that aims to discourage residents from attracting bears and other wildlife into residential neighborhoods. Bear incursions last year were four times greater than the previous year, and officials are looking at ways of reducing the number of resident-wildlife encounters.

KIDNAPPED AND RAPED: Authorities are asking for the public's help in finding a man who  kidnapped a woman at knifepoint in Covina, raped her and left her in Glen Avon, in Riverside County.  The 31-year-old woman was abducted about 10:40 p.m. Sunday while walking in a residential area in the 1100 block of North Fairvale Street.
