About 30 county firefighters responded Saturday at 11 p.m. to 10500 S. Yukon Ave., where they found heavy smoke and flames in a small building near the back of the school, Peters said. The fire was knocked down in about an hour.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation. Peters said the building sustained extensive damage, although the cost was not yet known. No injuries were reported.
