LAPD investigating burglary at Nicky Hilton's Hollywood Hills home

Los Angeles Police Department detectives were at the Hollywood Hills home of Nicky Hilton this afternoon after a burglary was reported.

An LAPD spokeswoman said the burglary report was made about 3:30 p.m., though officials released few details.

A law enforcement source, who spoke on the condition that he not be named because it was an ongoing investigation, said a computer and valuable jewelry were stolen.

Hilton acquired the three-bedroom, four-bath home in 2007 for $2.8 million.

Hilton's sister, Paris, was the victim of a burglary at her home a few months ago. In that case, authorities said a group of mostly teenagers had targeted Paris Hilton and other young celebrities.
