Body of infant is found in Stanton dumpster

An infant's body was found in a dumpster tonight in Stanton, authorities said.

The grim discovery was made about 7 p.m. at Katella Avenue and Knott Street, near a busy shopping center, according to the Orange County Sheriff's Department.

Investigators had been dispatched to scene, but no additional details were available.
