Gunman holed up in building near San Diego County's Barona Casino
A gunman stormed inside a tribal gaming commission building near the Barona Casino in San Diego County this morning, ordered everyone out and fired some shots, authorities said.
The man, who is believed to be a former employee who was fired last month, is armed with a rifle and is holed up inside the building in the Lakeside area east of San Diego, authorities said. The incident began shortly after 10 a.m.
There are no immediate reports of casualties or hostages taken, authorities said. The casino also remains open for business.
Sheriff's deputies have surrounded the building. No other details were available.
