3 shot, wounded in San Fernando Valley

Three people were wounded in a shooting in the San Fernando Valley tonight and were being treated after flagging down an officer.

The three were shot in the legs at Oso Avenue and Saticoy Street in Winnetka,police said. They then drove several blocks and flagged down the passing officer in Reseda about 8:35 p.m at Vanowen Street and Wilbur Avenue.

They were receiving medical treatment at the scene, according to police, who had no additional details.

"Nothing life threatening," said Officer Karen Rayner of the Los Angeles Police Department. "Looks like they're all going to be fine."
