Police seek suspects in L.A. cargo heists
Los Angeles police said today they were looking for two suspects responsible for three cargo thefts that netted more than $1 million in televisions, clothing and vitamin supplements.
Last Thursday around 9 p.m., the suspects entered a warehouse in the Harbor Gateway neighborhood with a tractor trailer, police said. The driver of the vehicle used a fake drivers license to enter the building. The suspects then loaded the vehicle with Samsung televisions, according to police.
Police said the suspects hit two other locations that night, stealing women's clothing and vitamin supplements.
Fleming Cargo Claims Service is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the recovery of the stolen goods and conviction of the suspects, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Anyone with information is asked to call Detectives Yvette Moreno or Jeanette Santos at (213) 485-2507. After hours, calls can be made to (877) LAPD 24-7.

Its nice to know all you have to do is flash a phoney drivers license you probably had made in MacArthur Park for $25 and you can drive off a big rig loaded with someone else's merchandise. Excellant security.
