Suspect is sought in Long Beach, Lakewood robberies

Police are looking for a man suspected in seven armed robberies in the last three weeks in Long Beach and Lakewood.

Robbery Suspect In each of the robberies, the man entered the businesses armed with a shotgun and demanded money. He fled in a vehicle, according to the Long Beach Police Department.

All but one of the businesses were food establishments. The other was a bookstore.

The man is in his late teens or early 20s, 5 feet 7 to 5 feet 11 inches tall, with a thin build. He has blue eyes, blond hair and eyeglasses, police said.
