'Geezer bandit' robs 5th bank in San Diego County

An man authorities call the "geezer bandit" robbed his fifth bank this week in San Diego County.

FBI officials officials said the man robbed a Bank of America in La Jolla on Monday evening, brandishing a gun and demanding money from a teller.

Since August, the man is suspected of robbing banks in San Diego, Rancho Santa Fe and Santee.

The robber is described as a thin white man with gray hair in his 70s, between 5 feet, 10 inches and 6 feet, 3 inches tall. Because he has used a gun, he should be considered armed and dangerous, agents said.

MMMMmmmmmm, supplementing his Social Security benefits, I guess.

The term "geezer" is derogatory and should not be used by the LA Times. Please use a more polite term such as "mature" or "seasoned".

I guess even the elderly has to take matters into their own hands.

...but when the banks rob the people it's ok. We need to dissolve the Federal Reserve.

Do they just "think" that he is old because of his grey hair or does he look old to the tellers? I cannot tell from the picture.

Okay, after really looking at the pictures and reading the discriptions, I guess my question actually is... Is it real or could it be make-up?

We're calling him the Geezer Bandit now? That's hilarious.
