Man stabbed to death in El Monte

Police are investigating the death of a man who was found stabbed in the early morning hours in El Monte.
The death was reported in the 11100 block of Bonwood Road, near Mountain View and Peck roads, about 3 a.m., said Sheriff's Deputy Lillian Peck.
The victim, whose name was withheld pending notification of next of kin, was pronounced dead at the scene, Peck said.
