Girl, 5, hit by vehicle that crashed into Woodland Hills dry cleaner

A 5-year-old girl was in serious condition today after being struck by a vehicle that plowed into a dry cleaning store in Woodland Hills, authorities said.

The crash occurred shortly before 3 p.m. in the 22800 block of Ventura Boulevard, said Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Erik Scott. The girl was taken to UCLA Medical Center for treatment, he said.

Further details about the crash were not immediately available.
