Dead woman found in Angeles National Forest

A woman was found dead this afternoon in the Angeles National Forest, authorities said.

Homicide detectives with the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department responded to the scene, near Mount Baldy Road, Road said Sheriff's Deputy Rick Pedroza.

Sheriff's officials would not say who discovered the body. They identified her only as a Hispanic adult.
