Do not be alarmed by Black Hawk helicopters swooping over the Valley

If you're in the San Fernando Valley in the coming days and are startled by a couple of loud military helicopters swooping around high-rise buildings, don't worry.

Los Angeles police said the Black Hawk helicopters will be part of a flight training mission taking place after 5 p.m. Sunday and Monday in central and west Valley areas.

"We wanted to let people know so nobody gets spooked and freaked out about it," said Officer Steve Scallon.

In April, an unannounced low-altitude flyover of New York City and northern New Jersey by a backup of Air Force One and two fighter jets sent ripples of panic through the area and led to buildings being evacuated. The White House later apologized for the incident -- a staged photo opportunity of the presidential aircraft over Manhattan.

DO NOT BE ALARMED! THIS IS JUST A TEST. DO NOT, WE REPEAT, DO NOT BE ALARMED! LIKE ALL THE OTHER DISASTER AREAS IN THE WORLD, YOUR GOVERNMENT IS ON THE CASE. DO NOT BE ....

What? Me worry?

Yes people, get used to more and more military presence on the streets of America. We're not being conditioned to accept seeing military everywhere, nothing to see here.

And this 'exercise' is being conducted, WHY?
Connect this with all the urban kill 'experience' troops are getting in the many world conflict zones, excuse me if my mind is running several simultaneous possibilities.
Rampant economic turmoil, government distrust, poverty, homelessness, potential medical epidemics...shall I continue?
I suggest the American taxpayer get some concerns as to EXACTLY what their April 15th 'contributions' are buying.
These exercises smell too much like urban warfare preparations. Like the saying goes; “He who hesitates, is lost.”

Or maybe it's just training.

"...a staged photo opportunity of the presidential aircraft over Manhattan. "
Hmm a republican I take it?

Its nice to see these "so-called" reporters of the times aren't biased.

When you see those military aircraft swooping about trying to strike fear into the people, remember they are getting everyone ready to accept this as normal.

The Posse Comitatus Act is a United States federal law (18 U.S.C. § 1385) passed on June 18, 1878, after the end of Reconstruction, with the intention (in concert with the Insurrection Act of 1807) of substantially limiting the powers of the federal government to use the military for law enforcement. The Act prohibits most members of the federal uniformed services (today the Army, Air Force, and State National Guard forces when such are called into federal service) from exercising nominally state law enforcement, police, or peace officer powers that maintain "law and order" on non-federal property (states and their counties and municipal divisions) within the United States.

The statute generally prohibits federal military personnel and units of the National Guard under federal authority from acting in a law enforcement capacity within the United States, except where expressly authorized by the Constitution or Congress. The Coast Guard is exempt from the Act during peacetime. -- Wikipedia

I forgot to mention: The Posse Comitatus Act was SUSPENDED by President Bush and President Obama has not yet seen it as necessary to restore the faith of the American People by REINSTALLING the act.

It is simply UNAMERICAN that our government can sick the military on our own people and strike us with impunity and no ability to defend ourselves.

It makes America no different than any other military state, from the old Soviet Union, to Peoples Republic of China, to Saudi Arabia, to any Junta in South America, America is currently NOT the nation our forefathers fought for. We are a third world country being run by a pack of militarists.... on both sides of the aisles.

You remember when the Soviet Army return from their WAR in Afghanistan, their people stood in the streets in sub zero temperatures and demanded the end of the Soviet Government? You remember the ARMY stood down and refused to contain the crowds.

It would be nice if our OWN AMERICAN military were that LOYAL to the People of their Country. Instead they deploy advanced weapons against our people in the name of "politics", with the attendant head bashing and jailing, and think it's somehow the right thing to do. They have reduced our military to a pack of well armed thugs.

Will this training exercise also include test-firing of the laser-guided missile system?

Ex L. A. Resident, can you name one person to whom this has occurred?

1979 - Soviet Army enters Afghanistan

1988 - Soviet Union collapses

2001 - United States Army enters Afghanistan

2010 - ????

Hi-rise buildings? Although it does contain many mid-rise buildings along the Ventura Blvd. and Sepulveda Blvd. corridors, the San Fernando Valley is not the site of buildings that are usually categorized as hi-rise.

Maybe they were accidentally refering to the previous Black Hawk military helicopter training exercise conducted
this past June 2009 in central and downtown Los Angeles.

The exercise scheduled for tomorrow and Sunday in the Valley would be an excellent opportunity to demo the Black Hawk to potential foriegn purchasers.

Sunday and Monday are the best days to negotiate a good rate for the entire top three floors and rooftop of the Hilton in Sherman Oaks.

Will this exercise for the Black Hawk military helicopter be using live on-board pilots or is it training for un-manned remote-piloting operating from ground-based simulators?

It just seems to make sense considering that the previous Black Hawk training which was conducted in Downtown Los Angeles was scheduled to begin June 16.

That was 4 days following the deadline for ending commercial television analog broadcasting, wherein a significant chunk of broadcast frequency spectrum was relinquished back for government and military use.

When have we ever had black hawk military helicopters in our own cities? Why now? After our "President", and I use that term lightly, has basically sent all of our young men to Afganistan so they are not here to protect "we the people", after he has freed enemy combatants, after he has invited the enemy to come live here among us, after he has allowed illegal immigrants from many countries to storm our borders and take over our government positions, after he has destroyed free enterprise, after he is taking away our right to keep ourselves as healthy as we see fit..with government run health care, after he is allowing the unions all the powers to cut our wages and set all of our salaries, after he has allowed his self appointed czars to take over the power from the people...

Doesn't anyone see what is coming????

Always remember:

The two enemies of the people are criminals
and government, so let us tie the second down
with the chains of the Constitution so the
second will not become the legalized version
of the first.
-- Thomas Jefferson

A free people ought not only to be armed and
disciplined, but they should have sufficient
arms and ammunition to maintain a status of
independence from any who might attempt to
abuse them, which would include their own
government."
-- George Washington

MILTARY helicopters? The MILITARY has no business doing this.

Google PDD 51, people.

But I thought they said there were no such thing as black helicopters, and that people who believed in them were all tin-foil hat wearing nuts?

And why are military black helicopters running low altitude training missions through the streets of Los Angeles? To train for the mountains of Afganistan? Because high rises are kind of like mountain gulleies? And what kind of risk does low flying helicopter pose to the general public? Accidents and malfunctions do happen, right? Why is the MILITARY placing civilians at risk just to run rediculous training ops in downtown LA?

Just for fun?

The tyrants are in violation of Posse Comitatus and nobody cares.
Unbelievable!

Never mind the black helicopters. The New World Order is here to help you.

Practice targeting civilians.

"But I thought they said there were no such thing as black helicopters, and that people who believed in them were all tin-foil hat wearing nuts?"

My wife and I were just saying the same thing. Black Helicopters, 9/11, JFK, New World Order, and Police State were just the ravings of fringe "Right Wing Conspiracy Theorists" wearing camouflage and hiding in bushes. Now that they have a smiling puppet in as president, it is much easier to get over on the public. Did anyone watch that Gestapo action in Pittsburgh G-20 meeting? If you have ever seen the French animation "Light years", this is right out of that. We are not approaching a totalitarian state, we are in a new flavored one. It will not be Gulags and Jack Boots.....yet. Let's face it, it is right along the lines of H1N1 scam, terrorists, banking failure, food speculation and derivatives, ripoff health care plan, perpetual war, and the division between races...........FEAR!!!!!

I thing the world is going to end and that is what they're preparing for.

I live in Pittsburgh, the G20 was a perfect example of what L.A. Resident is saying. It was the first time LRAD was used on Americans on US soil. Up til then, it was being used in the illegal wars in Iraq and Afghanistan - which this current Nobel Peace winning president (LMAO) is continuing and expanding. Cops sitting atop armored vehicles were driving down residential streets blasting people with the LRAD that were just in their yards or on their porches. No one was allowed to hang out. University of Pittsburgh is an urban campus. The Darth Vader cops and troops invaded their campus. Watch some of the videos on You Tube instead of being a clueless moron. You live in a police state that is in the process of taking of the velvet glove. WAKE UP!

How can the American people grip and complain about the US Military doing training. This is how the get ready to fight for your freedom. I did not here these same people complain about the Military when the twin towers came down. Our when the Japenins bomb Pearl Harbor.

The American people need to stop and look at all the freedom and right that they have because of those Black Helicopters. And those men and women that they will pick up off the tops of tall building and mountains top around the world. There is no conspiracies about Black helicopter, they are helicopter that are painted black.

The American people need to start supporting the American Freedom Fighter. And if they don't like what the men and women that we have put in power of this great country, then they should move to a Communist country and grip about what wrong there.
