Police arrest man for stalking Ryan Seacrest [Updated]
According to the police, Chidi Uzomah attempted to walk into Seacrest's office on Wilshire Blvd. around 9:30 this morning, when security personnel recognized him as someone who had tried to contact Seacrest before.
The Associated Press reports that attorneys for Seacrest obtained a temporary restraining order against Uzomah later in the day, claiming that he was carrying a knife when he tried to see the host.[Updated 10:20 p.m.: Lawyers for Seacrest said that a temporary restraining order was served on Uzomah by detectives today, with a hearing on a permanent order scheduled for Nov. 17. Police are pursuing felony stalking charges.]
Uzomah is being held on $150,000 bail.
