Man and woman found dead in apparent murder-suicide in Norwalk

A man and a woman were found dead of gunshot wounds Saturday afternoon in Norwalk, in what authorities believe was a murder-suicide.

Officers responded to a report of assault with a deadly weapon in the 11500 block of Tina Street at 12:50 p.m., said Rick Pedroza, a deputy sheriff. Upon entering the location, sheriff’s deputies found a man and a woman, both dead from gunshot wounds, Pedroza said.

Deputies believe it was a murder-suicide, Pedroza said. A handgun was recovered at the scene.

The woman was identified Sunday as Toni Vazueta, 29, of Norwalk. The man’s identity has not been released, pending notification of his family.

Update on the children: The kids are now with the paternal Grandparents and his sister.

What part of MARIED WOMAN dont you understand? I guess you have no morals or standards! That says a lot about the type of person you are! I wonder if you would be this brave in front of my friend Ernie!?!
Dont think you are going to get an ounce of pitty!

tony and ernie... man where do i start he watched me grow up.. he was a great friend to brother.. a very loyal man loved his family and would have done anything for them.. i would have never seen this coming from him ..my heart crys for his children and his family. pray toni and ernie because he got lost and needed help ..god bless u ernie u got lost and im sorry.. rip

adam enough has been done. dont come on here and make things more complicated have respect.

The person who gave Ernie the gun needs to be prosecuted. Your days are numbered... it's only time until it comes back to you. How stupid can you be! knowing that Ernie wasn't in the condition to have a weapon. especially during a time were he was having trouble in his marriage. And for Ernie's co-worker and friend... ha ha ha our such a laugh Ernie broke his vows to Toni when he decided to go out behind her back and cheat and he also was very controlling... two words "NO GOOD". It's not Adams fault he wasn't the one married to Ernie and as for Toni doing what she did if she did it! Well then GOOD FOR HER! she deserved to be happy before her life was taken. Think about this... for someone to pick up a gun and take the life of his love one is not love and for those who say "well he never hurt her before" well you better think twice about that. GOD BLESS YOU TONI AND FAMILY!

To "Good Friend": Are you perfect??? I dont think so! No one is. Why are you following everyone else and putting their dirty laundry up for everyone (and maybe their kids some day) to see!! That is non of your business! I have to agree with "Co Worker & Friend" HE(ADAM) should not have been messing with a married woman! and he should have some respect for both families and stop posting his stupid comments, cuz guess what they were BOTH human beings that were loved by many! and he is just hurting both families by posting his comments! So to conclude this...Adam, she was not planning on marrying you!! Cuz if she was she would have left Ernie for you.. your probably just a poor delusional fool who has nothing better to do but talk out of your butt! RIP ERNIE AND TONI ZAZUETA

I am very sorry to hear about your losses. Both Ernie and Toni seemed to be very loving parents and friends to their children. My son attended Stuedebaker Elemtary with the boys and over the last year became very close with Angel. Infact he would ask me all the time to go buy and see if he can come over to play. Angel expressed his family's love when over at my home and was soooo excited about the baptism and the dance that his Daddy was going to do in surprise for his Mom. I think of Angel and his brother alot. It brings me to tears when I think of the children and the tragedy they are experiencing. If anyone, can please advise how they are doing. It would bring peace to those who are concerned and learned to love these boys like my son. We pray for them til this day. Take care and may God protect and comfort them each day.

Ernie committed murder, therefore he is currently burning in hell! COWARD!!!

RIP...Toni and my you're little ones always remember you as their angel from above!

To "Good Friend" I am not taking sides nor am I talking Bad about Toni, I never had the privelage of meeting her, But Im sure she was a great person. But for you to come on here and say GOOD FOR HER because of what adam is posting?? What kind of GOOD FRIEND are you? I would never talk bad about her, I would never talk about their problems. They were both going threw problems & were both HUMAN. What Ernie did was WRONG! Never in a Million Years would I try & justify what he did.But he was my friend & I wish sooo much that I could have been there for him! I miss seeing him at work! As Im sure all of Toni's friends miss her!
To everyone posting NEGATIVE comments try & have some respect. There are a lot of feelings & emotions hurting here. Why make it worse? If I have offended anyone I appologize! Those were NOT my intentions! I just MISS my FRIEND!!!!!

I worked with ernie for years. He was a good guy. I can only imagine what was going thru his mind at the time of this tragedy. How this situation played out was tragic, and I say that for the fact that murder/suicide is tragic. Things happen in life for a reason, we who are here are not to pass judgement on this situation. The main thing is the children. Who cares about who, what and why this happend. Lets remember the good times we all had with both Ernie and Toni. And for Gods sake, PRAY FOR THE GRANDPARENTS WHO ARE GOING TO HAVE TO DEAL WITH THE GRIEF OF THE KIDS ONCE THEY GET OLDER.
