FBI searches for female bank robber in San Diego suburb

Banklady

A woman apparently in her mid-30s, with a cellphone to her ear and wearing oversized sunglasses, walked into a bank in a San Diego suburb Tuesday and robbed it of an undisclosed amount of money, the FBI said.

The woman presented a demand note to a teller at the U.S. Bank branch in Poway. A weapon was alluded to but not seen.

Only 6% of bank robbers are women, the FBI says.

We hope that we don't see children getting into the act, or the whole family robbing banks, but you know what they say the family that robs together go to jail together!

Only 6% are women? I thought that would be less!

Just taking back some of that bail out money!! Good for her..

Hang up and rob already!
