Man fatally stabbed at downtown L.A. hotel

One man fatally stabbed another after a verbal dispute at a downtown Los Angeles hotel, police said today.

The two 58-year-old men began yelling at each other about 8:55 p.m. Wednesday at the hotel in the 800 block of East 7th Street, said Officer Cleon Joseph, a spokesman for the Los Angeles Police Department.

One of the men stabbed the other multiple times with two knives, Joseph said.

The victim was taken to a hospital, where he later died. Officers arrested the suspect at the scene, Joseph said. It was unclear what the relationship was between the men and whether they were guests of the hotel, he said.

this is crazy yo

And the name of the hotel is? Is it a residential hotel? I'm so tired if this under reporting of downtown that leads people to think that it's the wild west. Maybe if the the media took the time to explain what happened it might actually be considered news.

It is Los Angeles of cousre.

The six basic tenets of journalism are who, what, where, when, why and how. WHAT was the name of the hotel? My-Thuan why did you leave that info out?

what hotel? What kind of reporting is this? Were they in the hotel at the time? Should we worry? Should we care? Or should I just click on another article?

I believe it was at the Ford Hotel on 7th street. It's located near skid row. It's a hotel used primarily by crooks and drug addicts.
