Another one bites the dust.

One more criminal behind the badge takes the cowards way out.

Good riddence.

Rest in peace Sgt Gunn.

I used to live up on Sunset Canyon
Drive. It is a very quiet neighborhood and nothing happens like this.

Any idea what kind of "misconduct"?

Thank GOD, this dirty cop did the taxpayers a favor, I wish all the dirty cops of the world would follow his Example and just go out with a self inflicted bang!

what kind of guilt causes someone to take their life????

Couldn't face the music heh?

Wow, this is great. If you play in the mud you will get dirty! I smell bacon! Now if we can get couple hundred more of these pigs in the LA area to do the same, this would be the perfect city!

PS
Keep up the good work, bacon strips!

I am a lawabiding citizen with no criminal record I used to live in Burbank, but i had to move because these officers would not let me live free it felt like i was living in a prison community. I would be scared just to drive home i got to the point were i would rather be roobed bye a thief than be pulled over bye a burbank officer. I've lived in many cities and no officer has disrespected me like the burbank officers would. I felt thretened bye them every time i would drive home they would pull me over in front of my house search my car sit me on the curve every time i would come home from college. In this city if your not white your not right. It's sad that he killed himself but i guess karma has a funny way of creeping back to you. I hope these officers get some real training on how to deal with a changing demographic minorities arent goin anywhere so they should just deal with it.

i'm very glad that BPD is getting investigated for this. As a Latino resident of Burbank who lived in the wrong side of the tracks for many years, I know how aggressive and racist the BPD can be, but I wouldnt jump to conclusions about this individual. Maybe the guy was innocent and he felt like he was railroaded. sure you can get very depressed if something like that happens. let the investigations run before passing judgement. "two wrongs dont make a right," said a very forgiving Burbank cop who pulled me over for running a red without a wallet/DL in the car.

I've met very kind cops in BPD too. Then again, I blend in with the majority and moved out of the hot zone....maybe if I were even poorer and darker it would have been different. Hmmm.
