L.A. sees major cooling trend

After weeks of hot weather, the Los Angeles area is expected to see a major cooling trend beginning today.

Temperatures are expected to hit the 70s along the coast, 80s in downtown L.A. and high 80s and low 90s in the valleys.

The red flag fire warning that had been in effect all last week was lifted Sunday. That's good news for firefighters mopping up fires in the Angeles National Forest and Ventura County.
