Shooting at South L.A. senior living complex prompts large LAPD response

A man who allegedly shot a woman at a senior living complex has been wounded by officers and taken to a local hospital, according to police.

LAPD Officer Norma Eisenman says police responded to a report of a shooting at 108th Street and Avalon Boulevard in South Los Angeles around 11:35 a.m. Friday.
