Southern California -- this just in

Former KFC outlet is now a marijuana dispensary

It looks like a Kentucky Fried Chicken and it's named K.F.C. But you won't find the usual finger-lickin' good delicacies inside the doors of Kind for Cures in Palms.

Instead, you might get a hankering for some after consuming what the new K.F.C. sells.

A marijuana dispensary has taken over the former fast-food restaurant and borrowed the initials for its own name.

Here's more from the L.A. Weekly.

ROTFLOL!!

Which is worse for your health: fast food or marijuana?

Legalize marijuana now. Visit http://yes390.org

I don't know what motivates people to smoke the weed any more than I know what drives people to drink. I've no idea the efficacy of the weed and I'll not past judgment. I suffer COPD, so I can't imagine polutting my lungs anymore than they've already been so I say whatever it takes to get the user through the day is okay by me. I do question the amount of crime that can be contributed to its usage. The statistics varies and one never know what to believe.

now thats what I call finger licking good!

original recipe sensimilla has a nice ring to it.

i am 32 years of age and have been an advocate for the legalization and use of marijuana and all of the uses of the all the different strains and sexes of the Hemp/Cannibus plant. the fact that someone has decided to use the same initials as Kentucky Fried Chicken is absolutely hilarious. these initials come with a positive and a negative though. the negative WILL happen but the positive will last longer if the game is played out right. right now they are getting public recognition all across the nation for this deliberate blunder. but if i know big businesses like the way i think i do, Kentucky Fried Chicken and any parent company (if any) will not stand for what these people are doing under what they consider their name. Kind For Cures WILL be sued for the use of the initials. the positive being, even though Kind For Cures is going to have to change the initials and be out a little bit of money, their name will be out all across the nation and that brings sales. lots of it. so the bigger the hubbub that Kentucky Fried Chicken makes, the more money Kind For Cures is going to make.
