Body of missing swimsuit model found in Buena Park trash bin [Updated]
The body of a 28-year-old woman and swimsuit model who had been missing from her Fairfax district apartment since Friday was found in a Dumpster in Buena Park, sources told The Times.
Jasmine Fiore was last seen at her home on the 800 block of Edinburgh Avenue about 8:30 p.m. Friday and had no contact with family members since, police said. Fiore recently moved to Los Angeles from Las Vegas.
Fiore's body was discovered Saturday by a man searching for recyclables on the 7400 block of Franklin Street. At the time, the Buena Park Police Department said it had not identified the body, adding that it appeared to be a woman in her 20s.
The Buena Park police will hold a news conference on the case this afternoon. It's unclear whether detectives have a suspect in the case.
[Updated at 5:06 p.m.: Buena Park police identified a Canadian national who reported Fiore missing as a “person of interest” in the case. Investigators said they want to talk to 32-year-old Ryan Alexander Jenkins. He is believed to be driving a black BMW X-5 with the license plate HLY275 or Fiore’s vehicle, a white 2007 Mercedes CL S550 with black rims, tinted windows and paper license plates that read “Platinum Motors.”]

As some suspected...a prostitute. She was a stripper, not a swimsuit model.

I'm so sorry for her family and the fact that this young woman's life was snuffed out at such a young age. I hope they catch the creep who did this to her.
