Two Marines killed in traffic accident in Mexicali

Two Marines from Camp Pendleton were killed in a traffic accident in Mexicali, Mexico, the Marine Corps said today.

The two, assigned to the 1st Marine Expeditionary Force, died Friday. The Marine Corps is cooperating with civilian authorities in the investigation of the deaths.

Mexicali is across the border from the Imperial Valley town of Calexico.
