Small Plane Crash near Lake Tahoe Kills Pilot

The pilot of a small plane died this afternoon in a crash near Lake Tahoe, according to authorities.
Around 1 p.m., a Cessna 150 went down near Lake Tahoe Airport shortly after takeoff, according to the Federal Aviation Administration.
The pilot’s name was not immediately released, and the accident was under investigation.
