One dead, four wounded in separate shootings
Three shootings in less than two hours this morning left one person dead and four wounded across Los Angeles.
The first shooting, in a parking lot near Sierra Vista and North Western avenues in East Hollywood, occurred about 1 a.m. Los Angeles Police Department Officer Rosario Herrera said an unidentified man, about 25 years old, was found with gunshot wounds and pronounced dead.
The second shooting, about 10 minutes later, was near West Slauson and 3rd avenues in Hyde Park. Herrera said a man shot two men as they were getting into a car after the three had engaged in an argument. Both victims, in their 20s, were listed in stable condition at a hospital, Herrera said.
The third incident, at about 2:30 a.m., was a drive-by shooting of two pedestrians near North Virgil and Burns avenues in East Hollywood, about two blocks from Los Angeles City College. Both men, who have not been identified, were listed in stable condition, Herrera said.

Any so-called "activists" calling for investigations or federal probes into the civil rights of those killed and wounded by thugs over the weekend? Or are those investigations and the sabre-rattling by the big mouths reserved only for those who assault police officer and deputies, only to lose? Hutchinson, Jackson, Sharpton, anyone seen them with the families of these dead and injured?

When you refer to thugs shooting people, I take it you mean the police and that gang. No one made them become cops and just because they have a difficult job does not allow them to cut corners and break the law.
Resign and find another job but please do not tell me, how hard your job is as a reason why you feel it is okay to use lethal force every weekend. "Aberrations", as Daryl Gates (damn him) called them...... do not occur every day unless you live in Los Angeles County, where life or death is decided by the police.
This is not a race issue they shoot ANYONE. The next time, it could be you, your family member or loved one. When it becomes a personal matter, the perception changes and there is no one to listen to you, wipe your tears,or feel your pain. Your interest will be reduced to a stat and assumed guilty, since it was a police involved shooting.
Police, just as teachers and priest should be held to a higher standard. It is a special place they hold and there is no room for mediocrity, a lapses in judgment mentally, ethically or morally.

Ha. Civil rights? Its the same old story. Latino's shooting Latino's. Black shooting blacks. Take a peek at the homicide blog. It has nothing to do with Civil rights. It has something to do with moron's with guns.

People sure have alot to say when it's not happening to there family or someone close to them. Cops rape, kill, steal and do the samething some of these thugs do, but the onlything is they have a license to do it. So before you pass judgement on someone else, what are you doing to make sure you don't fall victim to some wayward cop?
