Mar Vista plans water expo

Ed Begley Jr., actor, author and environmental activist, is one of those slated to speak Tuesday at a free Wise Water Use Expo in the auditorium of Mar Vista Recreation Center.

The forum, which begins with table presentations at 6 p.m. at 11430 Woodbine St., is intended to increase awareness and promote discussion of the drought crisis facing the area. Other presenters will include Kevin O'Donnell, a representative for Al Gore's Climate Project, and speakers from G3LA, or Green Gardens Group Los Angeles.

For more information, visit the expo website.
