July 12, 2009 | 11:21 pm

Investigators have arrested a man on suspicion of bludgeoning a South Los Angeles man to death with a hammer, police said tonight.

Brian Wright, 54, is being held in lieu of $1-million bail in connection with the slaying of 28-year-old Lindval Baptist, who was found dead at his home in 3100 block of 6th Avenue on Saturday, according to police. Wright was arrested hours after Baptist’s body was discovered, police said.

Anyone with information is asked to contact detectives at the LAPD’s Southwest Station at (213) 485-1383. Tipsters also may submit information at www.lapdonline.org. All tips may remain anonymous.
