Five teens shot in Long Beach

Five teenagers in a north Long Beach neighborhood suffered non-life-threatening gunshot wounds Friday night when one to three gunmen opened fired on them, Long Beach plice spokeswoman Sgt. Dina Zapalski said.

The shooting was reported about 9:15 p.m. in the 200 block of Plymouth Street, Zapalski said.

The one girl and four boys, ages 14 to 16, were standing outside when the gunmen walked up and began shooting. Zapalski said investigators believe there were as many as three shooters. Descriptions of the shooters were not available. The status of the teenagers was also not known.

Investigators believe the shooting is gang-related, Zapalski said.

Ya, Long Beach is good place to live....if you're an Illegal or a Gang Banger.

Actually, M. Scott, there are some really nice, clean and safe parts of Long Beach that never see this type of activity. Long Beach is a big city and it's very ignorant (and possibly racist?) of you to dismiss the entire community as a 'gangbanger' community.
