Debbie Rowe won't attend Michael Jackson's memorial

Debbie Rowe, the ex-wife of Michael Jackson and mother of his two eldest children, will not attend his memorial service because her presence would be a distraction, her lawyers said today.

In a brief statement, the law firm representing Rowe said she had intended to attend Tuesday's service at the Staples Center but concluded after conferring with her lawyers that she should not go.

"The onslaught of media attention has made it clear her attendance would be an unnecessary distraction to an event that should focus exclusively on Michael's legacy," said a statement from Browne, Woods & George, the law firm representing her. "Debbie will continue to celebrate Michael's memory privately."

Why did Michael Jackson pick one of the most unattractive women in the world to be the mother of his children! Why! Why!

She did not look that unattractive when she was younger. Besides, she's a surrogate Mum, so the kids won't have her looks.

Please leave this woman alone she made decisions in her life that was her deisions alone that do not concern anyone else.Lets not stalk her Michael would not won't this. His childern are being taken care of and loved.Let him rest in true peace at last.

I love MJ!!! He is a good man. Many members on the largest STD dating site Positivefish. com said that he donate at least $50,000,000 to help the HIV sufferer in Africa.

I admired Michael Jackson and am saddened that people in this world said cruel things about him in life and still try to now that he has passed on..He was not only a great entertainer but he also had compassion and did many good charity works. The accusations and criticisim against him I belive hurt him deeply and cause him probably a lot of emotional and health problems from the stress.. I never believed for one minute he was ever guilty of those accusations..He had 3 children who loved him dearly which should prove to everyone he was a decent man.. Now those sweet children have to live without a father..My heart goes out to them and his close friends and family..The world also has lost a truely amazing man.

That is sad that she didnt attend the memorial. Although a lot of people didnt think that Michael Jackson was a great person, he was a great performer and knew how to entertain. He was a master and I really wish that he would still be around because he was such an influence to me as a child i wished I could have danced like him and actually met him. Now I wont get that chance. It really is sad that it happened, but I am sure he is in a better place now.
