Three killed in Pico Rivera restaurant [Updated]

[Updated at 11:10 p.m.: Three people were killed and seven others wounded Saturday night during a shooting outside a Pico Rivera restaurant, where a motorcycle club was throwing a party, authorities said.]

Three people were killed and at least one person was wounded Saturday night during a shooting outside a Pico Rivera restaurant, where a motorcycle club was throwing a party, authorities said.

The shooting occurred about 6:45 p.m. at Falcone’s Pizza in the 9200 block of Slauson Avenue. Sheriff’s deputies found the bodies of two adults near the restaurant’s front door and a third in an alley near the restaurant. A fourth person was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

Details about the shooting and the names of the victims were not available Saturday night. The motive for the shooting is under investigation.

Richard Hayes, 48, of Pico Rivera, said he was on his way to a party held by the Old School motorcycle club at the restaurant and heard about a dozen shots while he was trying to park his car. He added that he thought the victims might be members of the club.

Motorcycles were parked all around the restaurant Saturday night. After the shooting, sheriff’s deputies blocked off portions of Slauson near Falcone’s and placed tents over the bodies.

I am a member of Old School Riders, I Thank God every person there didn’t get kill. I was working all-day, but this incidence should have never happened it was all about family, friends, and helping the people that need it helps. The 3 men kill, for something no one can understand, one man was an Engineer and other two one was a navy active duty person and the third was a good person the Navy Person Cousin and that bad two from one Family. Know three good people are dead by young and dumb gang member thinking I’m a gangster I owe the neighborhood of Pico Rivera. Also two more die at the Hospital I hear a young girl her father just went into the pizza place to pick up a pizza and now his daughter is dead. One more person die also going to the Hospital.

My mom was one of the victims shot sat night. She is doing good but is just still shocked by the incident.Pico does have a bad name but regardless this incident should have never took place!!!

Hello everyone,
I am not a member of the Old School Riders but i have family members in the club. They were there with other of our family members,we are so fortunate and blessed that none of them got hurt. My heart and prayers go out to every individual and families that were there.what gives these so cal gang members the right to go out and take someones life, who ever did this needs Jesus. If no one from the shooting comes forward and speak to the police,they are not gang members they are cowards.I hope some one from the shooting reads this you must repent and clear your consious, when it's your time to go meaning when Jesus calls you where do you think your going? PLease someone come forward.

I just got home from the funeral of the young Navy man. I will keep names out of this article but the last comment is uncalled for. These guys are not even from pico rivera and pico does not deserve that rep. Bad people do bad things and these where all inocent victims that had nothing to do with crime or gangs. I'm not from pico either the pizza place just happened to be in that city. please pray not just for those who died and there families but also for the poor souls who felt that they had to go out and shoot at these bikers who where raising funds for the needy.

Hi I just want to say that the shooting that happen that day left a lot of us In so mutch pain, the lost of those 3people were a tragedy. 1 of the guys I know, and been knowing him almost all my life. Carlos Carrera was my Brother n law,he was married to my sister they were high school sweet hearts, and for his life to be taken with a matter of seconds broke my sisters heart and broke mine and our familia heart just because they thought the Old skool riders was a gang but really was just a group who liked to have fun and do and help other people in need. I wanna let the other family of the victim know we feel ur Paine and god will be with us and give us strangth to live another day with out our love 1s that from the sky above their watching over us. And to my sister I love u berry Mutch and me and the family are here to help u get threw the tuff times and may they Rest.In.peace
