Octuplets mom tells Kate of 'Jon & Kate Plus 8': Stop judging me
Octuplets mom Nadya Suleman isn't happy with comments made by another mother of many kids, "Jon & Kate Plus 8" star Kate Gosselin.
Gosselin was interviewed earlier this year on the "Dr. Phil" TV show and was asked about Suleman's situation. She said it was going to be difficult for Suleman to raise 14 children, particularly without a husband to help out with parenting.
"Do I have to watch it? She reminds me of my mother," said Suleman, a resident of La Habra, in an interview with Radar Online released this morning. "I have moved past my mistakes. She has her own issues. ... She needs to stop being so judgmental and stop pulling at straws for attention."
"Jon & Kate Plus 8" is a popular reality TV show that follows Gosselin and her husband as their raise eight children. The show has gotten much publicity in recent weeks amid reports of marital troubles between the couple.
Suleman said in the video interview that Gosselin should focus on her own life. "My children are extremely healthy, strong and happy. Don't you have, like, a lot of issues in your life? A lot of marital problems?" she told Radar.
Coincidentally, Suleman's attorney announced this weekend that Suleman had signed a deal to star in her reality TV show.
"They came up with this idea, presented to her and she liked it because she'll get to use a camera and do some of the filming herself," her attorney, Jeff Czech, told the Associated Press, adding that the film crew would not follow the family all the time but, rather, cover certain milestones like birthdays.
"It'll be less intrusive than a reality-TV type of program," Czech said.

Leave the poor families alone! All this attention just leads them down a path of disaster. For the sake of their children watch their show and shut up. Or don't watch it and mind your own business.

Octomom just wants attention. For real how long ago was the interview and she is just now saying something? And I don't think what Kate Gosselin said was all that judgmental.

The thing that kills me about octomom is that she says " I love my kids, that's enough" NO IT IS NOT!!! These kids need endless help, attention, time and effort, that is alot more than just love. I raised 5 kids with NO developmental problems and it was more than a 24/7 job, plus I had the help/support/love of a husband who is not only a good man but an excellent father...love does NOT solve all your problems and to think so is simply irresponsible.

Wow, seems like Kate hit a delicate nerve in her comment, which by the way is true and every single person has thought the same thing. When Kate had her brood, she wasn't copying an already existent show about multiples. The very fact that a woman, unemployed, with no spouse or significant other in the picture, would ever even consider doing such an irresponsible thing...I can't even imagine where this woman's mind is? Is she independently wealthy, or living off a trust fund? If the answer is no, then obviously the plan from conception was to have a reality show. Would I rather watch and listen to Kate? Yes, anyday over Nadya! In general, would anyone ever say that raising 14 kids with or without a dad would be easy? No! Quit being so defensive Nadya...Kate only said what the rest of the world is thinking. These kids may be cute too, but I have promised myself to never watch the Nadya + 14 show...never, never, ever!

Octmom is the greatest lousy cheat on earth.
She has the guts to call the pot black. The Gosselins started with good intention and they love their children but their ego took over and cause such pain to the 8 kids and themselves.
Octmom starts having all her children to cheat on the government. Now, she wants to cheat on the people for big money again!
Lousy woman who can't even give her kids the chance of a good father!
Like it or not she is lopsided and her kids will not be any better than the poor kids of the Gosselins if their parents are divorced!
America is going nuts if her show is successful regardless of what kind of format she is using to make money out of the kids and the public who are to view her would be show!

You dont like the truth then thats to bad the truth of the matter is they take care of there 8 children we take care of yours ie tax dollers You are obviously nuts to have 14 kids if you dont have a job or you just dont care about any1 but yourself ugh this lady is a lazy person who just wants 2 spung off tax payers GET A JOB LADY!!!! Im sure sum1 would babysitt for you if u wanted 2 try 2 better yurself but even with a job your children will never have what other kids have like lots of 1 on1 time in a real chance at education like collage without going thousands in debt im sure they will thank u when there older u r like the crazzy lady with cats but these r human lives!!

As long as we keep watching these reality shows, the more attention and spotlight these twits are going to receive. I feel really bad for the children in these situations because what kind of life do they really live, with cameras all around 24/7? I feel that if Jon and Kate are really in it for the children as they say they are, then they would cancel their show and work on their issues in private. Octo-mom, thanks for spending my tax dollars, you are trash and I cannot believe that you even have the nerve to speak on somebody elses family when you obviously have issues of your own!! America is nuts if this reality show even airs!!!

You say others are judgemental, you are a selfish person who will exploit those kids just to get freevies....
I for one, am so mad at you, you knew you could not afford to raise 14 kids on welfare, but you went ahead anyway...
It makes me sick to know that you will "raise" 14 kids to be just like you, a cheap liar...
I will never be able to have children and I will not go and force the issue...
The sad thing is Nadya, you might have some fame for a few months or yrs but are you really going to be happy????
These 14 kids will grow up without a father figure to look up to.. what kind of life is that????
Anyway, I wish lots of luck, and most important, you will never get any pity or money from me.
If you get your own reality show, I will make damn sure never to watch what a selfish woman you are.

Yes Jon and Kate are having marital problems, Nice try with the "low blow" Nadya!! Lots of people have marital problems. It's becoming quite normal to have a marriage problem since the recession has caused so many layoffs and what not. So like I said, it's pretty common to have marital problems in some form or another. But it's definatly not common to mooch off the government and purposefully have octuplets so you can get a TV show. You are the only one who did that honey!! Like everyone else said.....Thanks for spending my hard earned tax dollars. It's not like I don't have children to take care of either. Bravo!! You may have out done the hate for Jon and Kate.

FYI - Television networks will not continue to highlight their lives if viewers no longer tune in. So tune out and let these amazing moms see what it's like to actually raise kids without the freebies and luxuries.

I can't believe some of the comments people have left here. Not knowing all the facts and some think they know it all to judge these families. Well Kate and Jon were on wellfare and both of them were unemployeed right after Kate gave birth. That's just one fact some of u didnt know. I just think none of us know all the facts and should not judge anyone! I would love to see blogs about some of the people on here and their perfect lives.

yes most people with kids have it hard but when u have children other then the natural way u deserve what u get because u chose to have children by other way and when u have more than one i think u should have to pay for the whole thing. Not having the taxpayers pay for your choices. Sorry Jon and Kate and octo mom it was your choice to have the kids now pay for them. Stop taking money, trips, bigger homes because you have grown too big for them. Pay for all of it with your own dime. It is my opion.

What strikes me as funny is the fact all of you are ragging on Octo mom and Kate when if you took the time to look at the TLC line-up there are so many more reallity shows. Table for 12 and 18 kids and counting Little People Big Word are just a few...face it everyone who stars in these "reallity"shows are being paid quite handsomely. I agree with the person who said stop watching and let them get on with their lives without the world watching. I mean come on who really cares if someone has 6....12 or 18 kids?
