Michael Jackson's death: 'Everyone is just crying'
Brian Oxman, a Jackson family attorney, spoke to reporters this afternoon outside the emergency room at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center.
“Everyone is just crying," Oxman said of the family. "I hugged Randy. He just cried. I hugged Jermaine. He just cried.”
“Michael is my friend, my compatriot,” Oxman said, his voice breaking. “The fans here – they loved this man. I loved this man.”
Oxman said all the family was at the hospital, except father Joe Jackson, who was on his way. Oxman described the family as heartbroken.
“The hurt is overwhelming,” said Oxman, one of Jackson’s attorneys in his 2005 molestation trial. “There’s never been anyone like Michael Jackson. I was with Michael at the darkest hour of his life when these charges were made, which I knew were false.”

Its a sad day for all. I remember seeing Michael and his brothers when they had their very first concert at at The Forum here in LA. I have followed his career for years later. It saddens me that the media and the public for the most part yapping at his heels for years behind all the allegations that he was never found guilty on,I never thought for one second that he committed these acts. Some of the people in my neighborhood are extremely stupid and ignorant as well as being insensitive, they are still holding that mess over his head instead of mourning this man's death. What is our society coming to. Michale RIP.

Michael Jackson took everyone by surprise with his sudden
and unexpected death. A musical legend who left his mark
on the music world and will be missed by many world-wide.

MJ "lived" from 1976 to 1989 -- created by his handlers for an adoring public demanding that he perform like the child singer he was in the 60's. Doesn't that make all of us kind of sick? Putting pressure on a young man to remain prepubescent in order to sell more records was a sound marketing strategy that made a lot of cash for a lot of people, including MJ.
Certainly sad, but still a fascinating thing to watch as it played itself out. There is absolutely no doubt the psychologico-surgeco- chemico stress was bearing down on him for his final 25 years. The laws of nature will always win in the end.

I was just thinking about how much I miss Micheals music and was thinking of how he might be doing and its sad that its come to this but they say death is a part of life and maybe now he can spend his life along with God and be away from the dark and embrace the light.

R.I.P Michael Jackson forever <3
A true legend. You are an inspiration. Your life was a very long and complex journey. You went through a lot of hype, the crap from the media and criticism from the public and haters (I swear, they are part of the damages and they should not be forgiven. Those ignorant turds only want to destroy others through pure jealously and stupidity). I cant believe you had to go through all that crap. We are proud that you have had pulled it through, and working hard on your comeback.
Our prayers go to Michaels family and friends.

I grew up aping the Man. He is a DNA apart... he was and will always be cherished for the rest of my life. I still hold on to many of his badges, song books & even as they played over the TV a few of his tracks you could not help but move a finger or a toe to step up the dance mood. We love u MJ and we pray for your soul : Rest in peace. & THANK YOU for making me win an award in College : by quoting your very verses on Black & White. U meant & always will mean a lot to this generation & the many generations to come.
