Michael Jackson: Flava Flav visits family home in Encino
Flava Flav, a reality television star, stopped by to see Michael Jackson's family at their compound in Encino about 4 p.m. today but left shortly afterward.
"Music has lost a king, music has lost an icon, music has lost a friend," he said, his eyes welling up with tears. "It's unbelievable, but we don't have any choice but to believe it."
He said Jackson was the muse for music that's being created today.
"God needed an extra angel, so he came and got Michael to work for him," Flav said.
He said Germaine Jackson, Michael Jackson's brother, took him to his first black rodeo.

That's it. You can't take it away from Michael he was phenominal. He was a sensitive and toubled soul. I can remember growing up in Gary, IN and listening to Jackson 5 records in our basement. I can remember the Jackson 5 concert at Gary West Side (1972)?; we were in Jr. H.S. at Gary Edison Middle School. I can remember how amazing it seemed to me that my younger nieces and nephews (and their little friends) were fascinated with Michael Jackson as a performer and with his music (they were not even born when he started and even during the downward spiral of his career). I remember that we were just talking about what new music he was going to do on his upcoming tour. It is sad that he has passed at such a relatively young age.
Condolences to the Jackson family and to all of his friends.

I am soooooooo hurt but also sooooo happy that he is DONE with the troubles of this "earthly" journey. Michael,Jermaine,Jackie,Tito and Marlon saved the lives of AFRICAN American young people in the 1960s as this damned country "lost its mind" killing our leaders. Rest MICHAEL REST Michael. The world is crying with you JACKSON family~~hotep~~

I just want to fall asleep and wake up to this just being a nightmare. Its sad how sometimes we take things for granted...this is the exact reason why we should live like it is our last day, tell our loved ones that we love them, and cherish every moment like it is our last. Words can not describe the emptiness Michael has left in our hearts! My deepest and most heartfelt condolences to his children, family, and fans. He will forever live in our hearts.

Now when I was little I thought I was Michael Jackson :) :), being black and raised in south central L.A. That's all we new :) Michael will be missed by me in a special way, because my daddy used to wake me up in the middle of the night when me and my brothers and sisters was asleep and have me sing and dance for him and his drunk family and friends on the weekends. Now for a quarter.........that was cool to me :) The Jackson 5 is what I called them, it was all us black folks had in the early 60's. I was born August 28, 1962 a day before Michael so YES I bragged about it a lot :) Michael was the reason so many of us blacks wore naturals, it was a black thang :) xoxoxoxo to the entire family / only God - and the son of the living God Jesus Christ can judge man. YES Michael music will follow me to the end of my life..................the old Michael Jackson is who I grew up with, and the latest album that I heard was Remember The Time, that was the last if his music that I enjoyed, it's only because I'm old school. SORRY ! Nothing personal.....May God bless all who eyes read my message :)

The man's dead and they are still leeching off of him withtheir copy written films, pictures, and videos. Went from ADL public enemy number 1 back to the King of Pop. How convenient. God will set these people straight.

Doesnt anyone find it rude how Flave flew over to the house and then got shot down? i would never do that unless i knew 110% that i would be welcomed into the house.....i find it totally rude that he proclaimed publicly he was close with the family, Michael, or whatever he was saying then gets shot down at the gates....that basically tells me that he is not close with the family and he was trying to make it seem to the public that he was and he made an ordeal of the whole situation.....maybe im just missing the point....to me it doesnt make any sense.........

The media killed Michael Jackson,
just like the Parparazzi killed Princess Diana,
Michael's handlers need to be investigated as well

No you are wrong what actually killed Princess Diane was a intoxicated driver abd she had no seatbelts on...thats why the bodyguard survived he was only one with belt on. Princess D was killed due to trauma to chest area. Wrong on Jackson too the media didn't kill hm the people around him who were allowing him and giving him drugs in larger and larger quantities..no one noticied he was dying...he was already on the way to death way before his heart stopped...

Michael was one of the greatest if not the greatest of all entertainers we need to clebrate that and not his personal life and value systems which for the most part were not very normal...
