Good Samaritan critically hurt helping woman on road

 

A man known in his neighborhood as a good Samaritan remained in extremely critical condition Tuesday after he was hit by a car while trying to help a possibly suicidal woman.

Around 9 p.m. Monday, a woman was seen standing in the middle of the 1100 block of West Orangethorpe Avenue in Fullerton, screaming at speeding motorists to hit and kill her, says Lieutenant Tom Bashan of the Fullerton Police Department.
