Lennox taco truck shooting leaves 1 dead, 5 injured [Updated]

Police are searching today for a man who shot into a crowd in Lennox with a rifle, killing a 59-year-old man and injuring five other people, including a 12-year-old boy.
The gunman got out of a white sedan about 10:40 p.m. Wednesday in the 10800 block of Inglewood Avenue and began shooting at people, according to the L.A. County Sheriff's Department. The victims were reportedly eating at a taco truck.
The 59-year-old man died at the scene. [Updated at 11:03 a.m: The man has been identified as Amado Cendejas Sr. of Los Angeles.] The injured -- two men, a woman and two boys, including the 12-year-old -- were taken to hospitals and are expected to survive, authorities said. The gunman fled in the car.

Hopefully they ban taco trucks in Lennox from now on.
Taco trucks & these murders make Lennox look like Tijuana.

I dissagree with that comment that kid said. Its not the taco stand, its the people that make lennox what it is. A taco stand is a form of living for some people. So that has nothing to do with what happen that night. And if you agains taco trucks dont support them by going there and eating. People need to realize what they say at times.

i disagree with jose . I am a resident of Lennox and this could have happen anywhere . It just happen to happen here. And for your information it was a racist shooting !! not gang related!! And i know the people that own the taco truck and there very humble . its not the taco trucks fault. so get your facts straight before you talk!!!!!

Shame that the racists come running everytime something related to Latinos is printed.. Why not look to our white brothers how are supplying guns, no assault rifles to anyone that has 20 bucks.. Simple economics my friend. Even Pres Obama wont stand up the gun lobby.. or the swine lobby.. or the labor unions.. and yet people come out of the woodwork to blame the latinos... for everything... As the age old saying goes, follow the money.. If America werent awash in guns wackos wouldnt have the arms to shoot at the co workers, innocent people, scool children.. not to mention their intended victims..
