Chris Brown hearing scheduled today in L.A.

R&B singer Chris Brown is scheduled to appear in a downtown Los Angeles courtroom this afternoon to enter his plea to the felony charge that he bit, punched, choked and threatened his pop star girlfriend Rihanna.

The 19-year-old star’s arraignment was pushed back by a month the last time he appeared in court. The judge also ordered him at the March hearing not to "annoy, harass, molest, threaten or use force or violence against anyone."

Rihanna, whose real name is Robyn Rihanna Fenty, is not expected to appear. Brown faces a maximum sentence of nearly five years in prison if convicted of charges in connection with the Feb. 8 incident, which according to police left Rihanna’s blood splattered all over the Lamborghini he was driving.

Brown’s hearing is scheduled for 3 p.m. and most likely will not last much longer than his last appearance, which was two minutes. The singer, a Virginia native, is known for hits such as "Forever" and "Run It."

Chris brown should not get 5 years in prison for what he did everyone acts like he killed the girl dang!!! Im his #1 fan i love u chris!!!!

GOOD !! FINALLY
hopefully there is some justice and the system doesn't let us down again.
this creep deserves jail time !

Put him to work for TSA!!!

I think they should just drop the case so we can get more music from them.

Gee I fel sorry for chris but he has to face it.A real man dont hit a woman.

It's not fair for the way y'all are treating chris everybody makes mistakes and he's sorry for wat he's done If it was someone else that was not a celebrity y'all would not be harassing them I just feel like it's not fair and all of this gossip needs to stop I am his number 1fan and I'm not never going to stop I love u chris and I wish the best for u maybe u need to stop tallkin to her and get your self together and worry about chris
and live ya life and have fun and don't have any kids yet

My prayers are with Chris and Rihanna today. I really am sad about everything these two young people are going through. I don't recall this level of outrage for other celebrity incidents. I am really perplexed by how harsh the media/public is being on these two. I can't wait until this is all over and they can go back to entertaining us so well. Best of luck to Chris and Rihanna. Stay Strong it will soon be over.

This whole incident is a good learning tool and a wake call for all the ignorant fans out there. Physical abuse has been accepted and is not taken seriously by teenagers and young adults. Liking the music of an artist is not the same as liking a person you only know of through media sources. So if their celebrity status brings attention to this serious problem, then so be it. We do not know these people we do know that there was some type of physical altercation that took place which must be taken seriously especially when the police is called to intervene.

i agree with britanny ,justyce, and tracie i couldnt say it betta

Why is everyone in Rihanna and Chris Brown's lives? What if they want privacy in this. I know Chris Brown abused Rihanna but why dont we talk about a million others who got abused. By the way people dont no the real story about Chris Brown and Rihanna so they should not make things up. Chris made a mistake, he should be forgived for that. 5 years is alot for just abusing Rihanna. I dont even think he abused Rihanna. I bet the court people are just punishing Chris because he is a celebrity. They wont give 5 years just for punching a girl. Anyways my numba #1 fav singers are Chris Brown and Rihanna so GOOD LUCK to them!! I hope everything goes better and they will start doing what they were good at. SINGING and ENTERTAINING us.Love you Chris Brown and Rihanna!!!

For all the people who say Chris should be let go and drop the case, are you ignorant? Many people in society do get abused, which is a crime, but do not get the same media attention. It is a great thing that this issue has been put on the spotlight. Chis is just like any other human being and should be sentenced accordingly.
