Man arrested in fatal domestic fight in Garden Grove

A Corona man is facing charges in a domestic altercation over the weekend that turned deadly. Garden Grove police identified Joseph Apocada Isidro, 30, as a suspect after they found him covered in blood with the dead body of a man.

Officers responding to a domestic violence report in the 11000 block of Sungrove Circle about 2:30 a.m. Saturday heard what sounded like physical violence coming from an upstairs bedroom, according to a statement released by the Garden Grove Police Department.

A woman inside was yelling at someone to stop, police said. Isidro opened the door from the inside, covered in blood, and was taken into custody. The woman was sitting on the bed, and the victim was face down on the floor with no pulse, police said. Officials said Isidro appeared to have gotten into a “physical altercation” with the victim, resulting in the death. No weapons appeared to have been used, they said.
