* Updated at 12:47 p.m.
Los Angeles International Airport police officials have detained and are questioning a man found with several firearms and ammunition inside his truck.
Authorities say the weapons were found inside the man's Chevrolet Silverado truck shortly before 11 a.m. when he stopped at one of the airport's vehicle inspection points, said LAX spokeswoman Katherine Alvarado. She said authorities did not have further details but were trying to determine who the weapons were registered to.
The Los Angeles Police Department, the FBI and the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives are assisting.
*UPDATE: LAX officials are now saying the man was arrested at 12:20 p.m. on firearms charges after officers found 30 handguns, seven rifles and fully loaded ammunition magazines in the back of his pickup truck. His name will be released after he's booked at the LAPD's Pacific Division, officials said.

So what was he arrested for? Maybe he was on his way to the range after he picked up or dropped off someone.
Fully loaded ammunition magazines? That's why they hold more than two rounds!
When are the good citizens in California going to wake up and clean out that anti firearm mess that they elected?
