Man charged with murder at New Year's Eve party

3:50 PM | January 6, 2009

A 34-year-old Los Angeles man was charged with murder today in connection with the fatal shooting of a New Year’s Eve reveler at a Studio City party, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office announced.

Gilbert Llewelyn McDonald was scheduled for arraignment this afternoon in Van Nuys Superior Court, said Deputy Dist. Atty. William Ryder. Bail was recommended at $2 million.

Early on New Year’s Day, following a party attended by some 200 people, a dispute allegedly arose between the defendant and victim Felix Levern Lang. At one point, Lang ran out of the house and McDonald purportedly followed him, shooting him three times, prosecutors allege. Lang died at the scene.

Shameful. Banning and censoring is far more fascist than Wagner's single note (the man was dead before Hitler was born).
