Villaraigosa files papers for second term
Coming to you live from the City Clerk's office at Piper Tech, Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa is filing his official "Declaration of Intention" to run for a second term as mayor of Los Angeles. The deadline to file is Saturday.
Villaraigosa, dressed in a sharp charcoal suit, walked in with just a two aides at his side, not a major entourage. A handful of other candidates, filing for every office from city council to school board, came up to shake his hand and wish him luck in his bid for a second four-year term.
The city's primary election is in March.

Wake up people of Los Angeles. You do not need another 4 years of a socialist, give freebies to illegal aliiens mayor. No respect for our immigration laws. Just take a look at what has happened to some parts of LA.. Mayor Villaraigosa has done nothing for the city except take credit for filling 100000 pot holes? No real progress in any vital area. Lots of camera showboats to prop up the image. Candidate MIchael Moore shows more promise to get things turned around. Don't be "hoodwinked again"

NO,......PLEASE, NOT ANOTHER TERM WITH HIM AS MAYOR. WE TRULY NEED SOMEONE ELSE IN THIS POSITION. HE HAS BEEN THE MOST INEFFECTIVE MAYOR OUR CITY HAS HAD. LET'S NOT GIVE HIM ANOTHER TERM.
