More than 100 homes destroyed in Santa Barbara County fire

Hannah-Beth Jackson, a Democratic candidate for the 19th State Senate District, for which votes from the Nov. 4 election are still being counted, was evacuated last night from her Montecito home, along with her husband, a Santa Barbara County Superior Court Judge.

"This is the most ferocious fire I've seen," she said.
