Leno has a good one about those California fires...
Amid the wildfire gloom, here's a little bit of lightheartedness from Jay Leno's "Tonight Show" monologue:
It's great to be here in Los Angeles -- what's left of it. These wildfires continue to burn here in Los Angeles.
I tell ya, I haven't seen anything go up in smoke like this since my 401(k). The firefighters are doing a tremendous job.
The latest word is the fires are now 60% under control, which is pretty amazing when you realize the rest of L.A. is only 20% under control.
Here's some classic wildfire humor. After the 2003 firestorm, there were rumors all over the Internet that the blazes had destroyed a large toilet paper factory and that there was shortage of toilet paper. Turns out that was all a hoax, according to TruthOrFiction.com.
