Congresswoman Linda Sanchez is expecting

Rep. Henry A. Waxman (D-Beverly Hills) isn't the only Southern California member of Congress with big news today. Here's an Associated Press item out of Capitol Hill involving Linda Sanchez:

Democratic Congresswoman Linda Sanchez of Southern California is pregnant with her first child. Her communications director says that Sanchez, who is 39, is due May 21 and is unofficially engaged to her boyfriend of a year-and-a-half, a consultant named Jim Sullivan. No wedding date has been set.
